The management of WAHGAmama (excellent traditional English cooking) is pleased to announce the continuation of the ever-popular Sunday Lunch Club in the Gardeners Hall during 2008. Dates are on the events page. Menus and booking lists will be posted on the notice board in the bar one month in advance of each lunch. Lunches are very popular so book and pay early to ensure attendance.

November 2007. The Autumn newsletter is in the post, together with notification of the AGM. The AGM will be held on Thursday 10th January. There will be vacancies for active committee members and, as Trish is anxious to stand down from the position of Secretary this year, there is a golden opportunity for someone with organisational skills to step into her shoes.

You should have paid your membership and allotment fees for the 2007-2008 season by now. The new membership cards are yellow and a convenient size for carrying in wallets and purses, they will be needed for shed and bar purchases.

December 2006. The Autumn 2006 newsletter was mailed to everyone on the membership list in November together with potato order forms and seed lists. A copy of the newsletter is saved here "Autumn 2006 newsletter " in Acrobat Reader format.


The 2006 Show and Fete was held on the 19th August. Although the morning helpers suffered a cloudburst, the sun came out for the afternoon and we had a good attendance including a visit by local MP Adam Afriyie with his family. The list of winners is available here in Acrobat Reader format.

The 2005 Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday December 8th in the Gardeners Hall at 7.30pm. If you missed it, click here to open the Minutes in Acrobat Reader format.


The 2005 Annual Show and Fete was held on August 20th. Trish Weller has a DVD with video of the competitions and events, and photographs of produce, copies available at cost.

The Association produces newsletters every half year for distribution to members. Starting from December 2004 these will also be available for download from this web site.
